What we light

One crew, every kind of room

The people who design your show are the people who run it on the night.

Signature moments

The parts guests film

Effects your guests remember, fired on cue by our operator.

Cold sparks

Spark fountains for entrances, first dances and finales. Low-temperature, no open flame.

Dancing on clouds

Low fog that hugs the floor and stays out of everyone's face.

Confetti drop

A burst over the crowd for the countdown, the last song or the big announcement.

Blinder hits

The whole room flashes white on the drop, the kiss or the reveal.

What we bring

A full production, in-house

Everything we use is ours, maintained by us and scaled to your room, from a ballroom to a backyard.

Lighting design

Moving heads, washes, strobes and pixel bars, chosen and placed for your space and your timeline.

Atmosphere & effects

Haze, low fog, cold sparks and confetti, coordinated with your venue's rules.

Show control

Every look programmed in advance and run live by an operator, in time with the DJ or band.

Truss & staging

Aluminum truss frames and towers that give the lights a stage, even where there isn't one.

Every cue lands on the beat.

  1. Inquiry

Tell us the date, venue and type of event. We reply with questions and a first idea.

  2. Lighting plan

We check the venue, power and ceiling height, then send a proposal with the look and the moments.

  3. Programming

We build your looks and cues around the run of show and the music before load-in.

  4. Show day

Our crew loads in, focuses, runs the show live and fires every effect on cue.

  5. Strike

We pack out on the venue's schedule and leave the room the way we found it.

About Circlum

Built by people who play the music

Circlum is run by partners Gulmet and Azad, out of Bellevue, Washington.

Gulmet manages and organizes the business. He handles planning, scheduling and coordination with your venue and vendors so the day runs on time.

Azad has spent more than a decade as an artist and in audio-visual production. That is why we program light to the sound: the beams move on the beat, the blinders land on the drop, and the room changes when the song does.

You will talk with both of them while planning your event, and together they lead the crew on every show, from the first site visit to the last case on the truck.

Questions

Before you book

How far ahead should we book?

Weddings and weekend dates in spring and summer fill first, so reach out as soon as you have a date. Smaller events can often be done on shorter notice. Ask, and we will tell you straight away.

Does our venue need to approve haze, fog or sparks?

Many venues have rules about haze, low fog and spark effects. Send us the venue name and we will coordinate with their team before the event.

What do you need from the venue?

Access for load-in, the ceiling height and the available power. We will ask about all of it during planning.

Can you work with our DJ or band?

Yes. We share the run of show with your DJ, band or AV team so lighting cues follow the music.
